The full platform runs eight scans continuously. The free check runs the ones that need no setup and produce findings you can act on immediately.
Terminology the Government Renamed
Federal aid vocabulary changed and most sites never finished catching up. Either the old wording is on your page or it is not, so there is nothing subjective about this one.
Requirements That No Longer Exist
Eligibility conditions repealed by federal law that are still posted as barriers. These are the expensive ones: a student who reads that they are ineligible does not apply.
Federal Resources That Relocated
Links pointing at addresses the Department retired. We check the links themselves, not just the visible text, because the address is almost never printed on the page.
Content That Is Missing
Harder to catch than something wrong, and more common. Tuition quoted with no route to the full cost of attendance. Borrowing explained with no path to counseling.
A Sample of What Comes Back

The third one is the distinction that matters. A mention is not proof of a mistake, so the platform asks you to look rather than telling you it is wrong.
What the Free Check Cannot Tell You

- It reads five pages. It does not read the other several hundred, or find the contradictions between them.
- It does not map who links to your pages, so it cannot tell you what breaks when a URL moves.
- It does not ask AI assistants what they are telling students about your institution.
- It does not run accessibility checks, track crawler traffic, or watch for regulatory changes.
- It runs once. It does not watch your site over time or show you the trend.
